Fusion21 helps to place 107th person into employment

Through the Future Jobs Fund initiative Fusion21 has been able to help the lives of many unemployed people struggling to find suitable employment in the local area.
This week the Fusion21 Skills team managed to place their 107th candidate into employment, an impressive number, especially considering the current state of the economic climate and with official figures for unemployment in the region rising in the last month.
Working closely with the regions social housing landlords, Knowsley Housing Trust, Liverpool Mutual Homes, Helena Partnerships, Villages Housing, Riverside, Wirral Partnership Homes and Venture Housing, the Fusion21 skills team has been able to find jobs for unemployed people through the governments Future Jobs Fund.
Jan Agger, Head of Skills at Fusion21 commented “We are committed to helping the long term unemployed get jobs, through the future jobs fund and our own construction skills initiatives we help provide opportunities for people who want to work.”
She further added, “It’s fantastic to see the response we are getting from job seekers, local contractors and our partners. People are actually beginning to take action and by working in partnership with other companies, we are helping to improve the lives of many local people by creating job opportunities.”
The Liverpool Regions Social Landlords are aiming to create nearly 400 jobs over an 18 month period with the help of Fusion21.
