Fusion21 is supporting and exhibiting at the Northern Enterprise 2016 Conference, held at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, on October 13, 2016.
The event aims to shape and drive the devolution agenda in the north, and provides enterprising and socially minded businesses with an opportunity to explore partnerships, and collaborative opportunities that create positive social impact.
During the conference a variety of master classes will take place, showcasing innovation and best practice in the social sector – Fusion21’s Chief Executive, Dave Neilson, will be chairing a master class on public procurement and joined by speakers Jonathan Bland, E3M Group, Julian Blake, BWB, and Jo Meehan from the Heseltine Institute.
The session explores themes discussed in the recent 'The art of the possible in public procurement' report, which challenges common misconceptions on public procurement, and examines the implications of the new Public Contracts Regulations 2015 - and the options the regulations provide for public service commissioners.
