Mark Robinson, Managing Associate at solicitors Trowers & Hamlins' (pictured), gave a briefing to Fusion21 members on the Public Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU and the draft Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Draft Regulations) which will implement it.
It is likely the regulations will be implemented in Spring 2015. The aim was to help Fusion21’s members understand what these new regulations will mean and potential impact on procurement processes. The seminar took place in Fusion21’s central Liverpool offices.
Members including Golden Gates Housing Trust, Plus Dane Group and Magenta Living attended amongst others.
Gordon Ronald, Operations Director at Fusion21, said: These are free added value sessions for members to attend and find out the latest developments in
Procurement. All parties attending have a vested interest in keeping up to date with the legal framework within which the sector and procurement transactions operate.”
