Plus Dane are partnering with Fusion21 to help transform Ellesmere Port and Neston

Founder members of Fusion21, Neighbourhood investor (Ni) Plus Dane Group has won a £100m contract to manage housing stock in Ellesmere Port and Neston.

The five-year deal will see some 200 existing council staff from Cheshire West & Chester and another two organisations transfer to Plus Dane. Plus Dane will take over the management, repairs and maintenance of more than 5,800 homes on July 1.

Chief Executive Ken Perry, said: “Everyone at Plus Dane is delighted that Cheshire West and Chester Council has put its faith in us to assist, not just in improving the management and maintenance of the existing council housing, but in playing a part in the overall transformation of the area.

“The selection process has enabled us to meet some very impressive people including existing tenants, staff and people from the public, private and voluntary sectors.We hope that we can help bring people together with a renewed sense of common purpose to further improve the quality of life, choice and opportunity for everyone in this wonderful town.”

The group will be spending around £53 million improving the homes of residents in Ellesmere Port and Neston. The group’s main areas of focus will be installing new Heating Systems, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Windows and Doors.

Plus Dane will be working with Fusion21, hosting a number of resident supplier days and undertaking mini competitions amongst the recently appointed planned maintenance framework contractors and suppliers.

The partnership with Fusion21 will also deliver social value benefits through job creation within the local community.
