Fusion21 member The Abbeyfield Society is set to save 14% in efficiency savings after accessing Fusion21’s Compliance and Facilities Management Framework.
The provider of houses and care homes for older people across the UK has awarded Nifes Consulting Group a three year contract worth £120,000 to provide fire risk assessments for 24 care and extra care homes, 100 sheltered schemes and three office buildings.
Due to the importance of obtaining a suitable competent Fire Risk Assessor it was imperative that a rigorous tender process with quality standards was embarked upon.
To help The Abbeyfield Society achieve its objectives, Fusion21 built an evaluated fire risk assessment into its tender process, requiring eligible suppliers to undertake two assessments for review.
Following a mini-competition and analysis of completed assessments, Nifes Consulting Group received the highest ranked score and was successfully awarded the contract.
Phil Woodhead, Framework Manager at Fusion21 added: “All of our suppliers are held to the highest cost and quality standards and we’re delighted to have been able to support The Abbeyfield Society in finding a supplier that meets their needs, in addition to securing cashable cost efficiencies.”
