Making real changes to people's lives:

Liverpool City Council has adopted a comprehensive and radical approach to the provision of supported move-on accommodation for those in Covid-19 emergency provision and for people experiencing a crisis which has made them homeless or threatened with homelessness during the lockdown period.

The city’s approach is based on strong partnership working between the Council, the major housing associations and voluntary sector accommodation and support providers.

Fusion21 Foundation’s investment in Liverpool's Home for Good project has enabled 30 of the previously homeless people to receive furniture packages as part of their tenancy. Alongside receiving support, this has enabled them to sustain their new tenancy.

The project continues to make real changes to people’s lives. Through this unique collaborative effort, over 1000 individuals are now settled in their own tenancies and receiving ongoing support to ensure the tenancies are sustained.
