Fusion21 refreshes Crohn's and Colitis volunteers doing sponsored walk

Fusion21 was delighted to support the Merseyside & Cheshire branch of national charity Crohn's and Colitis UK, as they embarked on a walk around the Crosby Marina and Sefton seafront.

The aim of the walk was to raise funds so that over 1,000 members of the charity (or those with the conditions) across Merseyside and Cheshire could continue to receive newsletters and support from the volunteers of the branch, in addition to supporting education events about the condition at the region's hospitals.

Each walker received water from Fusion21 before the walk and as they collected their medals.

Kathleen Charles, Chairperson of the Crohn's & Colitis Organising Team for the region, said: "We are very grateful for this support from Fusion21 and gestures like this can make a world of difference to the members of the public who have turned up with sponsorship forms to do the walk and support the work we do."
