Fusion21’s Director of Business Services, Mark Chadwick, has taken to the stage as a keynote speaker at the annual Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) ‘Best of the Best’ Awards – which also celebrated KTP’s 40th anniversary.
The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a UK-wide programme that helps businesses to innovate and grow, by linking them with a university and a graduate to work on a specific organisational project. This approach supports the improvement of innovation, competitiveness and productivity through better use of the knowledge, technology and skills.
Having previously been involved with KTP, Mark presented the award for ‘Business Leader of the Future’ and was also invited to talk to an audience of 200 attendees about how Fusion21 has used KTP over the past five years – to inject leading academic concepts and thinking into its new products and services.
Each year, the ‘Best of the Best’ awards celebrates the people and partnerships that that are behind the most inspirational and successful KTP projects in the UK.
Fusion21’s Director of Business Services, Mark Chadwick, celebrates KPT's 40th anniversary.
Mark said: “As a previous winner of the Business Leader of the Future award, it was an honour to meet the next generation of business leaders – and spend time with professionals who have been involved with KTP over the last 40 years.
“Fusion21 has benefitted from creating partnerships with Universities as a way of introducing new thinking into our products and services, and being able to provide recent graduates with a first step on the career ladder has proved beneficial to us and to the graduates. This “triple win” approach is unique to KTP.”
