Fusion21 has scooped the 'Social Enterprise Champion' award at First Ark's annual Impact Awards, which took place on Friday 3rd November in Merseyside.
Recognised for successfully combining commercial activities with social value, Fusion21 has delivered more than £147 million savings through the procurement process, created more than 4,000 jobs, and generated more than £66 million of community impact.
Dave Neilson, Fusion21 Chief Executive, said: "It's an honour to receive this award. The Impact Awards recognise exceptional people and organisations working to benefit First Ark communities.
In addition to winning an award Fusion21 was proud to sponsor the 'Investment of the Year' category won by the ADHD Foundation - which celebrates an organisation who has demonstrated proactivity, enthusiasm and determination to make the most of their investment.
Based in Liverpool, the ADHD Foundation works in partnership with individuals, families, doctors, teachers and other agencies to improve emotional well being, educational attainment, behaviour and life chances through better understanding and self management of ADHD, ASD and related learning difficulties.
