Fusion21 has sponsored two key awards during October which has seen organisations receive recognition for their work in communities.
The Redemption & Justice Awards took place on the 1st October in Central London and the Fusion21 sponored "Partnership Awards" went to Manchester based initiative "Safer Streets", a project that runs in the city centre, in partnership with The Men’s Room and Survivors Manchester. The project aims to engage young men at risk of sexual exploitation in order to assess needs and care plans. Over 200 people attended the evening’s black tie ceremony, which was the most inclusive awards event for justice ever presented, attracting 100’s of nominations from across the UK and internationally. The 9 awards recognise the significant success of people who achieved personal change and who now support others on their journey, and those who help to make change possible. "Safer Streets" works closely with several members of Fusion21.
