Fairbridge- Fusion21's nominated charity 2008/09
Fairbridge works with young people aged 13-25 that other organisations find difficult to engage - giving them the self-confidence and skills they need to change their lives.
Each year Fairbridge engages with over 3,600 young people. For many it is their first step back into education, training or work.
Fairbridge centres are based in 15 of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK including London, Manchester, Merseyside, Newcastle, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Fusion21, its members, contractors and suppliers will be organising a range of activities over the next 12 months to support Fairbridge.
Commenting on the partnership, Fusion21 Managing Director Colette McKune said:
"We are pleased to be working so closely with Fairbridge. The work they do with young people is phenomenal and is having a huge impact on people's lives and futures.
There are a number of areas where we have much in common and are looking to share ideas and experiences. There are obvious synergies with our own Fusion21 Skills Programme and we're looking forward to the next 12 months."
