To accommodate growing pupil numbers, East Sussex County Council has extended Polegate Primary School after accessing Fusion21’s Modular Buildings Framework.
Wernick Buildings Ltd delivered the £3.2 million project which has provided a new 2-storey modular building interfaced with a portal frame structure to provide a spacious school hall. It features three classrooms, staff rooms and office space, a commercial grade kitchen and a large circulation area which incorporates a shared activity area.
"This structure will make a huge difference to the capacity of Polegate Primary School. Selecting to install a modular solution has not only guaranteed a faster turnaround compared to traditional building methods, the school has also benefited from reduced design, labour and on-site costs.”
