Ed Livesey is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualified finance professional with extensive experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

He trained as an accountant with Lancashire County Council and Places for People Housing Group before moving into the commercial sector with a financial and legal services PLC. Ed has since held a number of senior leadership roles, including Group Finance Director at Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Head of Finance at the English Football League Trust, and Finance Director at a national social care charity.

More recently, Ed was Financial Controller and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at StepChange, the UK’s largest debt charity. He is currently Head of Finance at Cardinal Newman College in Lancashire, where he leads financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and assurance, supporting senior leaders and governors to ensure long-term financial sustainability and strong governance.
