Meet Alex Quirk

Social Value Apprentice 

Alex is Fusion21’s first Social Value Apprentice, currently studying towards a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience in planning and delivering impactful social value initiatives. Alongside this, Alex has demonstrated strong leadership by establishing and leading an apprenticeship network across Knowsley, bringing together individuals from a range of organisations to create a supportive community and social space—particularly valuable for those who may be the sole apprentice within their business.

Alex has also played an active role in the Social Value Leadership Group, supporting Sarah and confidently stepping up to lead several breakout sessions. Passionate about making a difference, Alex finds the most rewarding part of the role is working closely with local communities and seeing the genuine, positive impact of these efforts first-hand.

Outside of work, Alex is a dedicated Everton fan and has been a season ticket holder for seven years, attending every game. Staying active is also a priority, with regular gym sessions and a love for playing football.
