Wayne Gales is Chief Executive of Weaver Vale Housing Trust and has held executive director roles at several housing associations across the North West over the past 18 years.

He is professionally qualified with both the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Wayne is actively involved in a range of local and regional forums, including serving as Chair of the National Housing Federation’s North West CEO Leadership Forum. He also contributes to several housing and community-focused regional boards, including Cheshire & Warrington Devolution, Cheshire Central, the Cheshire West & Chester Homeless Reduction Board, and the West Cheshire Poverty Truth Advisory Board.

He is passionate about improving life opportunities and helping people reach their full potential, while challenging inequality and working to eradicate poverty.
